Almost 40 Years Of Turbine Experience
Our Operations Manager Dean Hendricks had 20 years of turbine experience before opening TCR in 1997. He’s shared his knowledge through continuous training, and we've gained almost another 20 years since then.
Using an ISO 9001: 2015 certified process, we've machined hundreds of impellers, turbine wheels, labyrinth seals, blades, and diaphragms. Large diameter and extremely detailed parts aren't a problem in this machine shop.

Lathe- Turning & Boring up to 27” in diameter
Mill- Drilling, Milling, Surfacing, 4 & 5-axis
VTL- Turning & Boring up to 78” in diameter
TCR is one of the only machine shops in Houston with the equipment necessary to make large impellers with the complex angles and tight tolerances required in the field.
After it's machined, we use a Faro Edge Portable CMM Arm to verify measurements and do a test fitting. When blades are spinning at upwards of 40,000 RPM, there’s no room for error. That’s why nothing leaves our shop until it’s perfect.
Fast Turn-Around
What sets us apart is that we know downtime is expensive. When you send us an order, we’ll work weekends, holidays and do whatever it takes to get the exact part in your hands.
Mistakes take time to fix, so we follow ISO 9001: 2015 to prevent them.
Equipment can break, so we have multiple mills and lathes just in case.
